Trying Lumi Education

Rather than re-doing a previous training, I elected to try a new one–Lumi Education. It’s a tool that Tierney and Libby recommended I try if I wanted to make an interactive word game. There are many features, which makes it good for idea generation and for trial and error. I personally had a fairy easy time with it, which is good. I found the way the program gives you examples of programs and how they direct you to input metadata is fairly straightforward. These games are also fairly simple. I was definitely thinking of the Kreyol Thesaurus and which ones would be applicable. I definitely see a lot of potential for involving images and connecting that to words. Unfortunately, I was unable to parse through every single program to figure out which ones would be best for my project. Also, I am just in the trial period, as Lumi is moving towards a subscription model.
