Reflect in a blog post on your portfolio site: with two years of Vivero experience under your belts, what advice do you have for new Fellows about the idea that this job involves learning how to do your job on the fly?

I revisited the response I had to this from last year. (It’s been two years with Vivero!) I agree with me from last year: being a little stunned is a part of the job. cPanel can be confusing after some time, and digital tools are updating their softwares in the middle of our project work. But, just because these are constantly changing, stability and habit can help to structure a constantly evolving job. For example, the two drop-in hours a week gives some structured time to work on the project. Beyond these four hours of scheduled work, scheduling yourself for the other work hours and finding a constant place to work could provide some sense of stability in a job that requires a level of innovation and adaptability. Last year, I struggled to come back consistently to the digital experimentation I was working on due to my fear of not knowing what the result would be. However, working through this difficulty is generative.
